To celebrate World Student Day - this imminent personality's birthday, was an honor and a privilege. It was an opportunity for the school to imbibe his vision and philosophy in school and in everyday life.
A special assembly was held in his admiration which educated the children about his life, vision, achievements and his dreams for India and the World. A few paragraphs from his book "Wings of Fire" were also read to educate the children of his righteousness and morality.
Dr. Abdul Kalam was a great scientist and believed that it is Science and Technology that can take India and the World forward specially with respect to the less fortunate. He emphasized how technology should be made easily accessible to the less fortunate which will bring about development of the entire civilization as a whole.
In commemoration of his mastery over Science and Technology the children across grades 1 to 8 took part in a Rocket Making Activity. The children designed their own rockets and were educated on the scientific know - how of rockets
As a part of the No Bags Day learning took place in the classes with the help of board games, card games and other resources.
It was an enriching and a fun experience for the children. The day ended with the children leaving the school with a sense of zeal and impetus to move forward on the right path to success.
