The School level MARRS International Spelling Bee Competition was held on 14 June 2016. A total of 57 students participated in the first level of the competition from grade 1 to 8.
The first round was the preliminary round where the writing skills of the students were assessed. Around 50 students qualified for the oral round where the students had to spell the correct word orally. The Oral round was also a knock- out round wherein, the students had to be extremely sharp and cautious while spelling out the word to avoid errors and elimination.
All the participants actively and enthusiastically participated in the Competition and exhibited brilliant skills in English vocabulary.
The winners will be awarded with Certificates and trophies and will qualify for the next level which is the Emirates Level. The names will be announced as soon as we get the final list from the organizers.
