What Works had selected our school's Hydraulic Project for display at What Works Dubai on Monday, 24th October for integrating minds and bringing about fusion of science as well as happiness.
Students from our school put their best foot forward and explained in detail the working of the model and emphasized the impact of saving resources. There were other schools who participated and displayed their projects which helped students to collaborate on larger platform.
Workshops were also conducted for the teachers who attended the program. The Happiness Minister for U.A.E Mr. Ohood Khalfan Al Roumi delivered an inspirational and motivating speech at the end of the session.
She elaborated in detail about her research and findings about happiness at work.
She urged schools to implement QCT (Quality Class Time) which will help them share their personal experiences at whole and help them bond with their schoolmates, giving them a sense of togetherness. It will also create an environment of global citizenship by nurturing them in righteous path and develop an EQ (Emotional Quotient) in students so they love coming to school with a bigger smile.
It was indeed an empowering experience to listen to her.
